【Cancel】Otabi Festival 2020

The highlights of Komatsu’s 250-year-old Otabi Festival are the hikiyama, special festival floats which double as kabuki stages.

You will get to watch young girls perform kabuki plays on the floats, a rare sight even within Japan! (and for free!?)

Komatsu still has a total of 8 hikiyama floats today, and they are a sight to behold when they are lined-up and illuminated on the night of 16 May.
