Hagi Summer Festival

The highlight of Hagi’s summer, the Hagi Summer Festival, takes place every year from 1st-3rd August.

The festival starts with a fantastic fireworks display on Kikugahama Beach, then the following days see the streets vibrant and bustling with parade after parade of dancing, large paper lanterns, and a performance of Hagi’s traditional song ‘Ofunauta’ from a wheeled boat, all reflecting Hagi’s unique history.
